It’s a very pretty truck!
I think $6k is a big ask for a
34 year old 305/auto/rwd truck though, as rust-free as it may be. $4k seems more reasonable to me.

As the owner of a ‘66 C10, I’m going to say it’s a CP, as the ‘80s iterations aren’t nearly as sought after as the 50-70s models. Also, as the owner of a ‘66 C10, I say NP! Hoping to see dumb rich assholes who pay people to fix up their cars paying stupid amounts of money for old pickups.

People are throwing crazy money at square bodies these days but the first/second gen c10s still bring more...

Just like vintage motos and 4x4s, it’s all an image thing now. Guys with soft hands and bodies buying vehicles that project masculinity.

in the salt belt, you’d get $6k all day every day

I wish I could buy it.

You say this like it’s a new thing.... Only thing that changes is which type of vehicle is the flavor of the week. Remember when gone in 60 seconds came out and fastback mustangs quadrupled in price?

I say it’s like a new thing because hundreds of old C10s are still rotting away on Indian reservations near me.
I don’t gauge the value of vehicles based on Nick Cage movies, so YMMV.
Did Nick Cage recent ly make a film with old C10s?

If it was a short bed in Silverado trim I could see $6k, but this one looks more like $4k to me, too.

Damn. They’re mostly all dust now. Kind of makes me curious about my ‘66 longboi. 350 swap with a mild cam, headers, edelbrock intake four barrel, brand new TH350 and performance TC from Hughs performance...
I just need to swap in a longer driveshaft.
